Nigel has spent the last 12 years helping organisations explain ideas, stories and concepts through clear, human illustration. He partners with authors, educators, creative agencies and community groups to craft visuals that feel warm, inclusive and purposeful.
His studio practice blends sketchbook experimentation with structured project workflows. Whether sketching characters for a children’s book or translating a workshop conversation into a graphic mural, Nigel focuses on capturing tone, emotion and clarity.
Outside commissions, Nigel leads creative learning projects that give young people tools to express themselves visually. He facilitates sketch walks, creative journaling sessions and collaborative murals that celebrate shared stories.
Approach
Every project starts with listening — understanding the audience, the message and the experience you want to deliver. From there, Nigel develops mood boards, roughs and feedback loops that invite collaboration. Files are delivered in organised packages ready for print, animation or digital platforms.
